A Short History of St. Paul's

The original Anglican church in Osgoode was built in 1886 and stood until 1924 when a larger church was needed to accommodate a growing parish. The whole congregation worked together to make a dream come true. Local “Boyd” cement block was donated for the construction. Teams of churchmen helped with the construction & the Ladies' Guild (est. 1909) raised funds through bake sales, catering & bazaars to purchase pews of quartered oak & elm, the sanctuary carpet & altar furniture & linens. The church with its tower & steeple stands as a village landmark to this day.
