In the Community

St. Paul's reaches out to homeless women & women at risk through the Diocese of Ottawa's three outreach ministries: "Cornerstone" shelters for homeless women & women at risk; Centre 454, a shelter providing day programs for homeless men; The Well (La Source) a women's day program for support, crisis counseling & chaplaincy services.

Ecumenically, we participate in a Good Friday service with the local Presbyterian & United Churches with the procession of the cross through the village & a mass choir. During Holy Week we share services with our sister church in the parish, St. John the Baptist, Kars.

In the Parish of Kars-Osgoode we celebrate the end of the Sunday School year  with a parish picnic in June at a parishioner's farm with outdoor
worship & games for the children.

Haiti Relief:
Donations for Haiti Earthquake Relief should be sent directly to the Primates World Relief and Development Fund, The Anglican Church of Canada, 80 Hayden St. Toronto ON M4Y 3G2 and marked "Haitian Earthquake". Please remember that the government will match all donations until February 12th, 2010.
