News and Events     Updated March 05, 2010

Dear Friends in Christ,

The most profound week of the Christian year is Holy Week. We begin on Palm Sunday with our Lord's triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Maundy Thursday recalls the last meal our Lord had with his disciples & foot-washing. On Good Friday we remember our Lord's death on the cross. The fire is kindled in the darkness of the church at the Great Vigil. That night & Easter morning we proclaim that God triumphs over death itself in the joyous message, “He is risen! Alleluia!
